11232. Macro-Elmar-R 100mm f/4. 3-cam, manufactured in 1979. Constructed with 4 elements in 3 groups. This macro lens with built-in focusing mechanism was introduced in response to the longstanding requests from Leica R enthusiasts, debuting in 1968.
The filter diameter is E55. Previously, the lens name and serial number were engraved on the front of the filter frame, but with this model, they are now engraved on the side of the lens barrel.
Renowned for its excellent rendering from close-up to infinity. With its built-in hood and robust construction, it exudes the typical quality of German industrial products.
While designed for the Leica R series, it can also be enjoyed with a wide range of digital cameras through adapters available today.

There is very minimal black chrome wear on the edge of the helicoid ring, but otherwise, there are no noticeable scratches, and the appearance is very clean.
There are extremely fine dust particles visible on the lens, but no haze or fungus, and the glass is very clean and clear.
The aperture ring and helicoid operation are very smooth, and overall, it's in excellent condition. Comes with both front and rear original caps.
