Leica M10-P Reporter. A special limited edition model released in 2021, wrapped in an olive color. Leica's product code is 20041. Limited to 450 units worldwide.
This model was introduced to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Leica Oskar Barnack Award, an international photography contest hosted by Leica, and to pay tribute to reportage photographers.
Inspired by harsh shooting environments, it features highly scratch-resistant dark green paint and a leather wrap made of Kevlar material used in bulletproof vests. The finish gains a unique patina with use over time.
The exquisite color and body design complement both new and old lenses, whether chrome or black, with a remarkable versatility.
This is a unit that was practically used by a customer. Overall, signs of use are visible. There are minor paint chips and scuffs on the corners of the top cover and bottom plate.
The Kevlar exterior material shows some fading and wear, with fraying of the Kevlar fibers near the edge of the bottom plate on the front left side. As the top cover's paint begins to wear off, the camera will develop even more character.
All parts are functioning normally. There are no scratches or defects on the sensor. There is a small scratch in the center of the objective glass in the viewfinder, but it does not affect visibility. The viewfinder maintains the excellent clarity characteristic of Leica M cameras.
The included accessories are the body cap and charger only. Manufacturer warranty is not included, so only initial defects will be covered.
At our store, the Leica M10-P has been long used as a test and demo camera, known for its reliable performance. This Reporter edition is expected to continue performing well for many years to come.
