※About rarity

Serial number in the 1.1 million range, a late model Leica M3 from 1964, single-stroke. Leitz product code: IGEMO.
The Leica M3, the pinnacle of rangefinder cameras, elevated post-war Leica to the top, marking a monumental achievement in the camera world. If you primarily use a 50mm lens, it remains one of the best choices among Leicas. Beloved by photographers and journalists worldwide, it has documented many of the most important events in human history.

This particular unit is in excellent condition, maintaining all original parts. The serial number is 1100880, a memorable number.

There are a few very light scuffs on the top cover and bottom plate, but no noticeable scratches or dings, making this a remarkably clean M3. The vulcanite covering is completely original with no chips.

It was fully overhauled in June 2024. All parts operate smoothly, the viewfinder is crisp and clear, and the contrast in the rangefinder patch is strong.

This is a clean unit, suitable for practical use. Comes with the original body cap.
