Leitz's right-angle VIDOM viewfinder, VIOOH. Black/chrome. It was produced for a long period from around 1938 to 1964.
It features frame switching for 35/50/85/90/135mm focal lengths. As you change the focal length while looking through it, the frame narrows in a very cyber and cool manner. Parallax correction is marked in feet.
This is a clean right-angle VIDOM in terms of both appearance and glass.
There are very minor scuffs on the bottom of the shoe, edges, and eyepiece, but the black painted parts remain intact, making this VIDOM viewfinder quite clean in appearance.
Many right-angle VIDOMs on the market have considerable fogging, but this item was serviced at our shop in 2021. There is a small speck of dust in the upper left corner of the viewfinder, but the visibility is excellent, and the operation is smooth.
