14218. Leica Meter MR in black chrome. Commonly known as the MR Meter. This model is referred to as the MR-4, as it no longer interferes with the rewind knob's OFF/ON switch. It was introduced in 1966, alongside the Leica M4.
It mounts onto the top plate of the Leica M cameras and is linked to the shutter speed dial, serving as an exposure meter. It utilizes CdS for light metering. It's user-friendly and has a rugged appearance.

There are slight scratches on the accessory shoe, but otherwise, the meter is in excellent condition with minimal signs of use. There are no dents or significant damage.
It was serviced by a specialist in May 2024, and it demonstrates sufficient accuracy for practical use.
Not only practical but also aesthetically pleasing, especially when mounted on a Leica M4 in black chrome or a KE-7A, enhancing its attractiveness. Comes with the original box.
