The black-painted body with nickel-plated dial is beautifully crafted, and the hexagonal E. Leitz logo inlaid with silver adds an air of sophistication. This is a pre-war Leitz masterpiece, exuding precision and luxury.
This item is in excellent condition, with the black paint and inlays looking stunning. Finding a Leica Model A, B, C, or Standard in a condition that matches this rangefinder will likely be a long journey.

For this type of finder, the paint loss is minimal, and the inlay remains intact, giving it an overall very clean appearance. There is hardly any wear. The dial section has 1-2 minor scuff marks, but the nickel plating shines beautifully.
Overhauled in May 2024. The dial operates smoothly, and the contrast of the double images is excellent.
