FODIS Rangefinder. A standalone rangefinder by Leica, featuring the early small dial type. Manufactured in the late 1920s. Black and nickel finish. Feet scale. Baseline length of 83mm. Minimum measuring distance is 3 feet.
This early rangefinder is a perfect match for vintage Leica A-type models.
There is some paint loss from use, but considering the accessory's age of over 90 years, it is in quite good condition. The E. LEITZ logo inlay remains intact.
Serviced in August 2024, with the dial grease updated for smooth operation. The contrast of the double images is high, making it easy to focus accurately.
The FODIS is well-suited for practical use and comes with its original leather case, which is also in good condition.
