This is a carefully modified lens head from a pre-war Dallmeyer Kinematograph 2-inch f/1.9 cine lens, originally made in the UK, now adapted for Leica L-mount with full rangefinder coupling.

Lovingly cared for by its previous owners, this lens has now returned to our shop once again. This marks its fifth time being offered for sale.
During a prior sale, we carried out a full overhaul to ensure perfect functionality, and at the same time, we custom-made an aluminum intermediate ring and re-modified the lens for Leica rangefinder coupling.
The result is a beautifully finished piece that looks and feels like an original Leica product, with a stylish appearance to match. The aperture and helicoid offer a smooth, dampened feel, and the rangefinder coupling is highly accurate.
The glass is clean and clear, with no noticeable wipe marks or haze.
While the genuine Leica hood causes slight vignetting at the corners, we recommend using it during shooting for both protection of the front element and enhanced aesthetics.

The included hood is an original Leica piece. Together with the black-painted barrel, the tasteful patina adds a rich vintage character.
