FB-07 Custom Lens Hood for Elmar (A36) – Silver Screw Version.
This is our original lens hood, designed specifically for A36-mount Elmar 50mm lenses. This particular item is a gently used unit with minimal signs of wear. The retaining screw features the silver lacquer version.

A truly unique hood with integrated aperture control access—something that had never been available before. It fits a wide range of lenses, from early 1920s Anastigmat, Elmax, and early Elmars, to the later Red Elmar versions.
Due to variations in dimensions across different production periods of the Elmar, we collected numerous samples to fine-tune the fit for each generation.

Also compatible with the Elmar 35mm f/3.5 (A36).

Designed, prototyped, and manufactured entirely in Japan—this is a true Made-in-Japan product.
Over a year in development, this lens hood is the result of collaboration between our in-house staff, trusted partners, and feedback from our customers. The locking screw is engraved with our shop’s original logo—our signature touch on a carefully crafted product.

This is a used item, but shows only minimal signs of wear and remains in excellent condition.
There are a few small areas of paint loss on the front edge, the tip of the aperture control tab, and around the base corners, as well as some wear to the inner mount area—none of which affect mounting or use.
The silver lacquer screw has a slight resistance, but operates without issue.
