A foldable leather focusing hood designed to fit over the focusing hoods of Rolleiflex models like the 3.5F and 2.8F. It features an adjustable eye width function.
Though it may look a bit extravagant, it makes focusing much easier, especially during daylight... or so it might! (LoL)
Additionally, it will likely be quite effective when used for close-up photography with the Rolleinar attachment.
It’s a somewhat questionable accessory in terms of whether it’s truly useful or not, but it’s well-made and an enjoyable item to have.
There is noticeable wear consistent with its age on various parts. The loupe glass is clean. When attaching it, open the body’s finder hood, place this focusing hood over it, and insert the side-mounted, extendable clasp into the crab claw mount.
Please note that it’s difficult to attach the crab claw strap simultaneously.
An excellently crafted item. When attached, it looks quite grand, but it significantly enhances the beauty of the viewfinder image.
Be careful not to get too absorbed in the beautifully emerging image and appear suspicious to others!
