FIRGI. This is a genuine Leica filter adapter, although it is unmarked. It is an extension ring designed to allow the attachment of A36 screw-in filters when using close-up lenses such as the Elmar or Hektor, or the ELPRO and HEPRO. This accessory reflects Leica's attention to detail and high-quality craftsmanship.

Introduced around 1931, it should be noted that similar adapters were also available for Compur-Leica close-up lenses, under the code name FIRCO.

There are minor paint loss and some distortion from adjusting the locking tabs. It has been tested and fits old Elmar lenses of A36 size. Since it is a bit tight, please be careful when attaching and detaching it from the lens.
