Customizations on this A La Carte model include: adding LEICA CAMERA WETZLAR GERMANY in two lines and black lettering to the Leica logo engraving on the top cover; changing to a silver battery cover (black cover is also included); relocating the serial number engraving to the accessory shoe area, among other modifications. The appearance is similar to the Leica M-A, giving it a more classic look compared to the standard MP.
The base MP model features a built-in exposure meter and a 0.72 viewfinder, providing a wide field of view. The design incorporates elements from the Leica M3, the progenitor of the M series, resulting in a well-rounded, modern aesthetic.
Like new condition. There are only extremely minor and fine scratches on the suspension ring and lens mount, but it is so pristine that distinguishing it from a brand-new item is difficult. This camera would be an excellent choice for those considering either new or mint-condition used models.
All functions, including the exposure meter, are operating correctly. The camera has been maintained in nearly the same condition as when it left the factory. There is a small spec of dust inside the viewfinder, but it does not affect visibility. There is no haze, and the image is crystal clear.
The camera comes with the body cap, strap, spare battery cover (black), warranty card (expired), user manual, inspection certificate, and original box.
