At wide apertures, it produces soft yet detailed images. When stopped down, it enhances depth, retaining a softness that transitions into sharpness. It embodies the distinct Leica style and imaging characteristics.
Both the exterior and glass are exceptionally clean. The popularity of 8-element lenses has been steadily increasing, making good specimens increasingly rare. Compatible hoods include ITDOO or IROOA.
Its appearance remains immaculate without any signs of use.
While it underwent a full service in 2021, we conducted another service specifically on the lens head in 2024. Through meticulous maintenance, the aperture and focusing helicoid offer a premium, smooth operating experience.
