While it may appear somewhat grand for a 50mm lens hood, it surprisingly complements the Barnack Leica cameras well and enhances the high design aesthetic characteristic of Leica.
This hood is exceptionally clean, as if it has slipped through time from its manufacturing era. There are no signs of mounting marks on the inner ring, and it appears to be almost unused. Inside the hood, there are minor paint abrasions visible from certain angles, but they are hardly noticeable at a glance and the overall condition is very beautiful.
