This lens, with its aspherical design, was the world's first commercially produced series of its kind. The Noctilux, meaning "light of the night," captures and renders images with high contrast reproduction even in low light, creating a unique world with its characteristic vignetting and bokeh.
There are some signs of use on the focus ring, but the black chrome barrel remains beautifully intact.
The operation of the helicoid and aperture is smooth. The rangefinder coupling is perfect from the minimum focusing distance, allowing you to enjoy shooting comfortably even with the aperture wide open.
There are two thin polishing marks on the rear aspherical element, typical for f1.2 lenses, but the glass is very clean for an original Noctilux f1.2.
The rare 12503 original hood shows minimal signs of use and is in beautiful condition. The full set also includes a Series 8 filter.
