Fully serviced in April 2024, the operation of each component has been tuned to provide just the right amount of torque. While the focusing action of the Summilux-R 35mm lenses tends to become heavy over time, this lens operates very smoothly.
The glass is also very clear with no visible haze or noticeable cleaning marks. While there are minor coating imperfections on the middle element when viewed under strong LED light, they are unlikely to affect image quality.
