Leitz Sports Finder RASUK in black paint. It is equipped with frames for 35/50/73/90mm lenses. The design features a rotating objective part that allows changing the focal length, and the eyepiece height can be adjusted to correct for parallax. It has markings in meters.
When the RASUK finder (with 35/50/73/90mm frames) is combined with the RAMET (a slide-type finder frame for 105/135mm), the code name changes to RASAL. It can get quite confusing...
Speaking of which, I once greatly admired an Italian collector who had memorized all these intricate Leitz code names—back then, I was just a novice and found it incredibly impressive (laughs).
This accessory is beautifully finished in black paint, nickel plating, and the subdued gleam of silver inlay.
The base shows some wear in the black paint, and overall, there are signs of normal use, but there is no significant damage.
Regardless of its practicality, this is a Leitz accessory that would be a delight to mount on a Leica DII or DIII. I highly recommend enjoying the charm it adds to these cameras.
