Leica’s classic lens hood, the IROOA, also known as the IROOA. The later product code is 12571J. It fits lenses with an E39 (39mm screw-in) diameter. This version features a double-hook design. There are various versions of the IROOA, but this one is engraved with four compatible lenses.

The compatible lenses include the Summicron 35mm f2 8-element, Summaron 35mm, Summicron 50mm f2, and Elmar 50mm f2.8. Its robust construction and simple yet stylish design are appealing. With its compatibility with many lenses, it’s a must-have among classic hoods.
