Summilux-M 50mm f1.4 is a model from just before the integrated hood version, representing the final form of the second generation. Produced in 1989. Leitz product code 11114. 7 elements in 5 groups. The Summilux strikes a perfect balance between softness and transparency, delivering images with a compelling sense of depth. Its elegant rendering is stable even when wide open, and its unassuming appearance makes it highly practical. E43 filter and 12586 hood is compatible with it. Slight black paint chipping on the edges of the helicoid ring, but overall, the lens has a quite clean appearance with no noticeable scratches or dents. There are no signs of impact or indentation. Fully serviced in March 2024. Both the aperture and helicoid are extremely smooth, providing a comfortable user experience. Coupling with rangefinder. Focusing is accurate. The glass is free from wipe marks or haze, maintaining excellent clarity. The included genuine UVa filter 13206 shows some signs of use. Serial numbers do not match original box.
