Manufactured around 1973~1974. The strap lugs feature 3 lugs. To those accustomed to the M-series bodies from the M3 to the present day, the M5 may feel large, but once you use it, you'll understand! It's a model favored by enthusiasts. With its built-in light meter and shutter dial positioned naturally within reach, you can enjoy shooting without taking your eyes off the viewfinder. Its handling is also exceptional. Minimal to no signs of use, maintaining a condition akin to new. The black chrome finish remains deep and lustrous. Inspected and serviced in March 2024, including viewfinder cleaning. All functions operate properly, and the light meter functions normally. When viewing the viewfinder window from the front, the characteristic crescent-shaped separation of balsam typical to the M5 can be observed. Additionally, there are balsam separations resembling fungal threads along the outer perimeter of the double-image coincidence area, but they are not mold. While it doesn't affect focusing, it might be slightly noticeable in bright scenes. Despite the viewfinder's unfortunate condition, it remains a good performer in practical use.
