※About rarity
VALOO / 16620. Released in 1949. Combination lens hood and aperture setting ring for Elmar 50mm. A36 size. Cap can be fitted to the hood. Slightly longer than FISON. @GPT@The VALOO lens hood, originally introduced in 1949, was designed for use with the Leica Elmar 50mm lens on enlargers and focusing stages to improve aperture control. While its primary purpose was for enlarging, it can also be used as a shooting hood. Nowadays, it is predominantly employed as a hood for the Elmar 50mm lens. Despite its somewhat rugged appearance, it features an integrated click-stop mechanism for aperture adjustment, showcasing the meticulous craftsmanship typical of Leica products. The front end of the hood has an A36 mount, allowing it to accommodate the original lens cap. It is slightly longer than the FISON hood, offering improved light-blocking performance. @Copy@Very good conditioned VALOO hood. Good working condition. *Shipping to Japan only. For overseas customer, please contact us before order. @GPT@Although there are minor signs of use, the paint remains intact, and this VALOO hood is in remarkably good condition. The aperture control operates smoothly. *Shipping to Japan only. For overseas customer, please contact us before order. The price includes both consumption tax and shipping.
