Leitz filter adapter ring. It allows mounting an E39 filter onto an A36 lens. Leitz product code: SOOGZ / 13154. It features a charming design with screws protruding unexpectedly.
Specifically, it enables A36 lenses such as Elmar 50mm f3.5, Hektor 50mm f2.5, Summar 50mm f2, Summaron 35mm f3.5, Elmar 35mm f3.5, and others with an outer diameter of 36mm (A36) to use E39 filters with an inner diameter of 39mm (E39). This is great news for lenses that can only use slip-on filters!
Furthermore, this SOOGZ adapter has slits on the outer side, allowing for the attachment of E39 hoods like IROOA and ITDOO.
Our customers have creatively used this combination, such as attaching the SOOGZ to Hektor 28mm or Red Summaron 28mm, and then mounting the IWKOO for Super Angulon, allowing for unconventional uses!
