IUFOO lens hood, later as 12575N, was produced by Leitz for telephoto lenses. It is compatible with E39-thread lenses such as the Elmar 90mm, Elmarit 90mm, Tele-Elmarit 90mm, and Hektor 135mm. The hood features a double-hook locking mechanism, with a black-painted finish on the hood section and a matte chrome finish on the base.
The engraved markings indicate compatibility with three lenses,
4.5/135, 2.8/90, and 4/90. This version does not include the 4/135 marking for the Elmar, which appeared on later four-lens versions.
Preferences between the single-hook and double-hook versions vary, but the ability to mount the hood in reverse for compact storage makes the double-hook design particularly practical for telephoto lenses.
The chrome section shows significant scuffing and shine from use, while the black-painted area has minor paint loss and small scratches. The hood has been tested for proper attachment to compatible lenses. Making it a practical choice for use.
