※About rarity

Summilux-M 21mm f/1.4 ASPH., product code 11647.
A current-production, ultra-wide-angle lens with an exceptionally fast maximum aperture.
Serial number in the 4.14 million range. Black chrome finish.

Features an 8-group, 10-element design, including two aspherical elements and a floating element system.
Minimum focusing distance is 0.7 meters.
Accepts Series 8 filters, which are mounted between the screw-in lens hood and the front of the lens.

Despite being an ultra-wide, this lens is capable of isolating subjects beautifully at wider apertures.
When stopped down, it achieves deep depth of field and crisp, clear imaging, taking full advantage of its ultra-wide perspective.
(According to the depth of field scale, stopping down to f/5.6 brings everything from 2.5 meters to infinity into focus.)

For those who wish to fully enjoy shooting wide open at f/1.4 even outdoors, a camera equipped with high-speed shutter capability—such as the Leica M11 or Leica SL series—is highly recommended.

There is minor black chrome wear visible on the edges of the hood, lens barrel, and rear lens guard, but overall, the lens remains in very good cosmetic condition.
A clean example that's ideal for regular use without hesitation.

All functions operate properly, and rangefinder coupling is precise.

The glass is clear and bright, with no noticeable cleaning marks or haze.
Please note: when the hood is removed, the front element slightly protrudes beyond the barrel (!!), so careful handling is essential.
Using both the hood and filter is a must.

Includes the 12461 lens hood, 13018 Series 8 UVa filter, hood cap, and rear cap.
