※About rarity

Summicron 50mm f2 in Rigid barrel with Leica screw mount. SOSTA / 11018. Manufactured in 1958. Meter scale. Minimum focusing distance is 1m.
The screw mount lens was manufactured only 1160 units during the era as M type camera is becoming mainstream after M3 was released in 1954.
Looking good with Leica IIIf or a Leica IIIg from the same era bodies, it adds a truly stylish touch. Of course, it can also be used with M-type Leica cameras or digital cameras via an adapter. A rare lens.
It has already been sold in-store. Thank you very much.

There are a few very light scuff marks, but overall, this fixed-lens Summicron is in excellent condition. The silver paint on the knurled parts is also well-preserved.

It underwent a full overhaul in February 2025. The aperture ring and focus mechanism are smooth and pleasant to operate, with perfect rangefinder coupling and accurate focusing.

There is slight coating damage on the middle lens element, but it has no practical effect on images. There are no noticeable scratches or haze, and the glass is clear with beautiful sharpness. The coating is intact on all elements.

As with every Summicron, the rendering is impressive, and the real-world test results were excellent.
