Nippon Kogaku Universal Finder.
A copy of the Leitz VIDOM. The viewfinder displays a upright image.
Introduced around 1954, during the era of the Nikon S and early Nikon S2 models. Features a black-painted and nickel-plated finish. Parallax correction markings are in feet.
It offers selectable frames for 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, 105mm, and 135mm focal lengths. The nose has a threaded mount compatible with a 28mm attachment.

This finder is well-crafted, with a refined finish that exemplifies Nippon Kogaku’s quality craftsmanship.

There are small scratches and some paint loss on the corners of the front of the finder, but the black finish retains a beautiful, high-quality appearance.
All functions operate smoothly. While there is a slight haze in the glass, it does not impact the clarity of the view.
