Leica's classic 35mm viewfinder, SBLOO. This unit features the early hexagonal Leitz logo and was released in 1951.
It offers a sparkling view that reveals details not visible through built-in viewfinders. It's a wonderful item that enhances the mood whether used on Barnack Leicas without a 35mm frame or on Leica bodies with integrated frames.
Once you experience this viewfinder, you might find built-in finder frames inadequate...
It's a versatile finder that excels in street photography and other focused snapshots.
Overall, it has a slightly worn appearance. The chrome plating on the eyepiece side shows some glossiness. There are minor scratches overall, slight corrosion on the chrome, and wear marks from attachment and detachment at the bottom. The accessory shoe is undistorted, and compatibility with the camera has been confirmed.
Internally, there is very minimal dust, which does not affect the visibility when looking through it. The glass is clear without noticeable wiping marks.
A condition that allows you to carry it around without hesitation.
A much-appreciated masterpiece viewfinder from Leitz that makes the world shine when you look through it.
