※About rarity

The early model of the Contarex Bullseye, a high-end single-lens reflex camera by Zeiss Ikon, with the product code 10.2401.

Manufactured during the early period from 1959 to 1964, it boasts a brilliant chrome-plated finish, showcasing an impressive design and impeccable craftsmanship. The selection of interchangeable lenses is of the highest quality, reflecting Zeiss's commitment and passion.

There is hardly any sign of use, and the exterior is exceptionally clean. There are no dents, dings, or noticeable scratches. The beautiful chrome plating, typical of Contarex cameras, still shines brightly.

It underwent a service in 2019. The shutter operates smoothly at all speeds. While the exposure meter reads 2 to 3 stops over, it functions correctly. Due to its design, there may be shutter speeds that cannot be selected depending on the set film speed, but this can be adjusted by changing the film speed setting.

The lens underwent a service in May 2024. The focusing operation is smooth. There are very minor coating blemishes on the rear element of the lens, but they have minimal impact on actual photography. Additionally, there are no wiping marks or haze, and the glass is clear and pristine.

It comes with a UV filter, cap, and case.
