Finder mask for Contax II, model 543/7, made by Zeiss-Ikon. For Contax III, the code is 544/7.

When mounted on the accessory shoe, it covers the front of the viewfinder and provides frames for 85mm or 135mm lenses. The mechanism allows the 135mm frame to be retracted by turning the knob on the front of the finder mask.

This mask does not obstruct the rangefinder's double image, allowing you to compose your shot without taking your eyes off the viewfinder, thus improving the speed of shooting with telephoto lenses.

The mounting part of the shoe shows some wear and chrome loss from attachment, but overall it is in fairly good condition. The finder frame switch knob operates smoothly without any looseness and clicks firmly into place.
