Kinoptik Apochromat Foyer 100mm f2. Modified lens from cinema use to photo use. Manufactured around 1940. Lens head for Cinema. Modified to LTM. 6 elements in 4 groups. Double gauss type. It weighs 970g. Some elements seems to have been coated but very fragile so that almost all coatings removed. This lens couples with rangefinder very well. Rarely seen. This type of barrels often used to modification for Kinoptik, Atro-Berlin, and Berthiot lenses in order to use with Leica cameras, rangefinder coupling. Looks very aged. Fully serviced in 2022 and focus adjusted. Faint deterioration of balsam and very shallow cleaning marks on inner element. No noticeable effect on pictures. Test shots resulted in very fine and dramatic.
