Miranda T Black Paint. This particular model is the T-I (Type 1) variant painted by Orion Camera Co., also known as the Orion name, featuring a shutter speed of up to 1/500. It's quite a rare find. With Zunow 50mm f1.9.
It's said that the black-painted models were produced in limited quantities, possibly intended for press or journalistic use. About twenty years ago, a similar black-painted model with the Orion name and similar specifications was auctioned off at a famous overseas auction.
Overall, the body is in excellent condition, having been carefully preserved by one of our customers for a long time. Truly a rare find.
Amall area of minor black paint loss above the Miranda logo on the pentaprism, and slight rubbing is visible on the bottom plate, but overall, the body is in very good condition. Both the body and lens serviced in 2024.
The lens exhibits some glass deterioration on the back of front element and minor balsam separation along the edge of the front group glass.
Additionally, please note that the Zunow lens protrudes slightly from the mount surface at the center of the rear element, so please handle with care when placing the lens down. When using the slow shutter speed, set the high-speed dial to 1/30.
