Leica 35/50/90/135mm Zoom Hood, FIKUS, 36mm screw-on (A36). Rare nickel version. This particular item is engraved with both Hektor and Elmar 3.5.
When fully retracted, the outer hood fits the Elmar 35mm and Hektor 50mm lenses.
This hood is perfect for those who cherish black-painted Barnack Leicas, such as the DII and DIII models, or their nickel lenses. It can accommodate four types of lenses, making it an excellent choice for saving space in your camera bag.
Notably, this example has the engraving on the hood that reads E.Leitz Wetzlar, rather than the usual Ernst Leitz Wetzlar. Additionally, the engraving is upside down compared to the standard orientation.
It shows significant signs of use, with a presence that reflects many years of active service. The wear on the black paint adds to its vintage character.
