Leica Meter MC Black Paint. This is a selenium exposure meter manufactured by the German company Metrawatt. The Leitz code is METRA, later changed to 14200. Although not manufactured by Leitz, it can be considered a Leitz product. It was introduced as the successor to the Leicameter-M. Featuring a plastic base, it weighs only 80g, making it more user-friendly. This unit is a late model introduced after the appearance of the Summilux. The aperture value has changed from f/1.5 to f/1.4. There are two types of undercoating for the Leica Meter MC Black Paint: chrome and brass, and this unit has a chrome undercoating. Please handle with care during installation, as the top cover and shutter dial are prone to scratches. Comes with a dedicated case. There are small paint chips in various places, and there is some minor signs of use, but overall, the black paint remains intact and the appearance is clean. There are no scratches or dents. All functions work fine, and the exposure meter operates within the correct range. With no worries about battery depletion due to its selenium exposure metering, it's a reliable companion for travel.
