Leitz 12585 Lens Hood. This is the original lens hood for the second generation of Summicron 35mm and 50mm lenses, succeeding the IROOA hood.

It is a classic hood that fits most lenses with a 39mm filter thread (E39), including the Summicron 35mm f2, 50mm f2, as well as the Summaron and Elmar. This is an early type without the 35/2 engraving.

There are only slight signs of black paint wear on the tip and edges of the hood, as well as minor scuffs on the removal button. Overall, the hood is in very clean condition. It has been confirmed to fit E39 lenses.
