Leica 50mm finder. The Leitz product code is SBOOI, later changed to 12015. A masterpiece of Leitz finder design, combining simplicity with functional beauty. Look through it, and somehow the world seems just a little more beautiful.

This example is the early version marked 5cm. As with many classic Leitz accessories, the SBOOI exists in numerous variations, with nearly eight types known to us alone. This particular example is the common version with knurled grips on both sides, a black-painted eyepiece section, and a single retaining screw beneath the accessory shoe.

Previously sold by our store. It was carefully used by the previous owner and has now returned to us.

Its condition remains much the same as when we last sold it. There are some minor scuffs and small areas of black paint loss, but no noticeable damage, and the overall exterior condition is good.

The glass is clean, offering the exceptionally clear view characteristic of the SBOOI.
