The SBLOO is Leica’s classic external 35mm finder, later assigned product code 12010. This example is the early version with the Leitz logo inside a hexagonal frame. Introduced in 1951, it succeeded the WEISU finder.
It is an excellent accessory not only for Barnack Leicas and the M3, which lack a built-in 35mm frame, but even for Leica bodies that already have one. Simply mounting it on the camera adds to the pleasure of shooting, and its bright, brilliant view is a delight.
A superb Leica finder that is especially useful for street photography and snapshots.

Previously sold by our shop and carefully used by the previous owner, this finder has now returned to us.
The underside shows a fair amount of light rubbing and some shine from use. There is also one tiny pin-point scratch on the side, though it is not particularly noticeable. Otherwise, signs of use are minimal, and the finder remains quite clean overall.
The glass was professionally cleaned in 2026. Under a strong LED light, a very slight haze remains on the inner surface of the glass that could not be completely removed during cleaning. It has no effect on the view, which remains clear, bright, and crisp.
The price includes domestic shipping within Japan.
