Leitz 28mm viewfinder with a lightweight plastic body. Introduced as the successor to the metal SLOOZ / 12007 viewfinder. This example is an early version, made in Germany, with no stopper, the Leitz logo, and parallax correction lines.

It may be unfair to compare this plastic-bodied version with the earlier metal SLOOZ finder, but its remarkably light weight of only about 17g is a major advantage. A very useful finder for anyone looking to keep their camera setup as light as possible.

There are some minor scratches around the front corners and sides, but there are no cracks or breaks, and the overall appearance is quite clean.

There is a somewhat noticeable amount of fine dust inside the glass, but it does not affect the view. The finder remains bright and clear.

A good practical example for regular use.
