A lens hood made for the Summarit 50mm and sold under the Actina brand by Schmidt, the Japanese distributor for Leitz.
It attaches to the lens with a retaining screw. The hood is a slip-on type and can be mounted while an E41 filter remains attached.
Actual weight is approximately 31g. Compared with the substantial feel of the original XOONS hood, this one has a cleaner color and silhouette that blends more naturally with the Summarit.
It is solidly and attractively made, with a quality that gives it the feel of an original-equivalent accessory. Once mounted, it gives the lens a particularly distinguished appearance.
It can also be used with the Xenon 50mm.
A rare accessory.

The chrome-plated areas show some light rubbing and a few small scratches, but there are no noticeable marks or dents. The black paint on the inside also remains well preserved with only minor paint loss. Overall, the hood is in clean condition.
Fit has been confirmed on both Summarit and Xenon lenses.
