The SBLOO is Leica’s classic external 35mm viewfinder. Its later product code was 12010. This example is the early version with the hexagonal Leitz logo. Introduced in 1951, it succeeded the renowned WEISU viewfinder.

It is, of course, ideal for Barnack Leicas without a built-in 35mm frame and for the M3, but even on Leica cameras with built-in 35mm frame lines, simply fitting an SBLOO somehow makes the camera feel that much more special. The view is wonderfully bright and brilliant.

A classic Leica accessory and an excellent viewfinder for street photography and everyday shooting.

There are a few light rub marks on the bottom of the finder, but otherwise it shows very little sign of use and is in exceptionally clean cosmetic condition. Even among the relatively common SBLOO finders, it would be difficult to find one in this condition.

The glass shows only a very small amount of dust, with no effect on the view. It offers the bright, clear and crisp view characteristic of the SBLOO finder.

Comes with the original red box from the period. Also highly recommended for collectors.
