The Leica M-P Typ 240, the third generation of Leica digital M cameras. The Leica product code is 10773. Finished in a sharp-looking semi-gloss black paint, this camera combines a professional appearance with excellent specifications. The serial number is in the 4.90 million range. Incidentally, a lesser-known feature of the Typ 240 series is that it is the only Leica M series capable of shooting video.
Based on the Leica M Typ 240, the M-P follows the tradition of Leica models bearing the P designation, with refinements to both its exterior and internal specifications. The red Leica badge on the front has been omitted, sapphire glass is used for the rear LCD monitor, a frame selector lever has been added, and the buffer memory has been increased from 1GB to 2GB.
Among the various generations of digital Leica M cameras, the M-P is particularly notable for its neutral colour reproduction. Its robust body and stable performance have also earned the strong trust of our staff.
Relatively affordable among digital Leica cameras, the M-P offers excellent features such as live view and a high-capacity battery, together with its cool and understated appearance. It is an excellent choice.
In like-new condition. There are hardly any signs of lens mounting or removal, and it appears to have been used only for test shots. The beautiful semi-gloss black paint finish is especially impressive.
All functions are working properly. Most importantly, the CMOS sensor is exceptionally clean, with no dirt or scratches visible. Test shooting also produced excellent results.
Our warranty covers initial defects only. However, the M-P is a remarkably robust camera, and our own demonstration unit has continued to perform reliably for many years. This example should serve as a dependable companion for many years to come.
The original box, battery, charger and cable, instruction manual, warranty card, two inspection certificates, and strap are included. Please note that the serial numbers on the original box, warranty card, and one inspection certificate do not match the camera body. The box is for the chrome model, product code 10772. The other inspection certificate matches the serial number of this camera.
Although the M-P is a relatively recent model, many examples have already seen considerable use. It is therefore quite rare to find one in such exceptional condition.
