Dedicated hood for the Summilux 35mm f1.4 1st, commonly known as the Steel Rim. Leitz product code OLLUX, later changed to 12522H. This stylish hood is widely known as the OLLUX.

This example is the early type engraved OLLUX, before the designation was changed to 12522. Among OLLUX-marked hoods, this is the later Version 2, featuring arrow engravings on both sides.

With its stylish design and precise construction, it complements the early Summilux beautifully in both performance and appearance.

A like-new example showing virtually no signs of use. It is hard to believe that this camera accessory is over 60 years old. In fact, it almost looks too nice to use.

Tested for mounting on the lens. It fits securely on an early Summilux 35mm f1.4 with no play.
