A compact medium-telephoto lens made for the Minolta CLE. Leica M mount with a sloped rangefinder cam and full rangefinder coupling. It can be used with all Leica M cameras. Production was shared between Minolta and Leitz, and this particular example was made by Minolta.

With its compact barrel and light weight of just 247g as measured, it is an ideal medium-telephoto lens for travel. It offers smooth, gentle bokeh and the low-distortion rendering characteristic of a telephoto lens.

This is an item previously sold by our shop. It was carefully used by its previous owner and has now returned to us.

There is only a very slight amount of paint loss on the edges of the helicoid ring. Otherwise, the lens shows almost no signs of use and remains in very clean cosmetic condition.

It received a full overhaul in 2025. Thanks to the thorough servicing, both the aperture ring and helicoid still operate very smoothly. Rangefinder coupling is accurate, and focusing performance is excellent.

The glass shows only slight coating deterioration on an inner element, visible only when held against a strong LED light. This should have virtually no effect on actual photography. Otherwise, there are no noticeable cleaning marks or haze.

The original rubber hood, which is often prone to tearing, remains flexible and in excellent condition, making it a fitting match for the lens itself. In addition to the hood, the original front and rear caps are also included.
