OLLUX hood, designed exclusively for the Summilux 35mm f1.4 1st version, commonly known as the Steel Rim. The later product code is 12522H. This hood is commonly referred to as the OLLUX.

This example is an early version with the OLLUX engraving, Version 1 without the arrow marking. With its stylish design and precise construction, it complements the early Summilux both in performance and appearance. Fit on the lens has been confirmed.

The front end of the hood has developed a glossy sheen from many years of use. In contrast, the base of the hood has a matte black chrome finish, which is its original condition.

It mounts securely on the early Summilux 35mm f1.4 with no play.

The exterior shows signs of use, but it should look very good when paired with a well-used Leica body and either a chrome Summilux 35mm f1.4 or the rare black Steel Rim.
