Like the 2.8F, the 3.5F was available with either a Planar or Xenotar lens. Both are highly regarded, and it is difficult to say which is better. This example is fitted with the famous Carl Zeiss Planar. In addition to its superb rendering, the 75mm focal length offers an excellent and very natural angle of view.

The higher-end 2.8F is also an outstanding camera, but with more than enough speed for outdoor photography and an easy-to-use focal length, the 3.5F may well be the better choice for those who simply love taking pictures.

Meticulously built in the golden age of camera manufacturing, the 3.5F lets you fully appreciate the exceptional craftsmanship and refined feel that have made the Rolleiflex one of the finest twin-lens reflex cameras ever made.

There is some paint wear at the upper left of the ROLLEIFLEX nameplate when viewed from the front, two small marks on the left side of the lens board, and two spots of paint loss on the side of the back door near the film advance crank. Otherwise, the body shows little sign of use and remains quite clean.

A full overhaul was completed in August 2026. Thanks to careful servicing, all controls now operate smoothly. In particular, the film advance crank, one of the key elements of the Rolleiflex experience, feels exceptionally smooth and should make shooting all the more enjoyable. The exposure meter also provides sufficiently accurate readings.

The Planar taking lens is clear and bright, with no haze or cleaning marks. This is a camera that allows you to fully enjoy the lens performance as intended.

The lens cap, diffuser, strap, and leather case are included. The leather on both the strap and case remains in solid usable condition.
