Summicron-M 35mm f2 ASPH. in silver chrome finish. Made in Germany. Leica product code 11674. Introduced in 2016, this remains a current model in the Leica lineup. Its distinctive rectangular hood adds a modern Leica design accent.
Equipped with 6-bit coding. The filter size is E39, and the minimum focusing distance is 0.7m.
The optical design remains unchanged from the previous model, with 7 elements in 5 groups, including one aspherical element. However, the number of aperture blades was increased from 8 to 11, producing smoother and more natural bokeh.
This lens was previously sold by us and has now returned after being carefully used by its owner.
It shows hardly any signs of use and remains in exceptionally clean condition. Although paperwork such as the instruction manual and warranty card is not included, the lens itself is in like-new condition.
The glass is clear and bright, with no cleaning marks or haze. All functions work properly, and the rangefinder coupling is spot-on.
An excellent-value option for anyone considering the current Summicron.
To attach the hood, the decorative ring at the front of the lens must first be removed. As this ring is very easy to misplace, please take particular care when handling it.
