Leica M10-P in black chrome. Introduced in 2018, this is a Leica M digital rangefinder camera. The Leica product code is 20021.
The sleek black chrome finish is perfectly suited to the traditional Leica M design. It pairs beautifully not only with black lenses, but also, with understated elegance, with chrome lenses such as the early Summilux 50mm known as the Lady, the Steel Rim Summilux, and the rigid Summicron.
Building upon the Leica M10, the M10-P introduced an exceptionally quiet shutter, a discreet and cool appearance without the red Leica logo, and a touchscreen LCD monitor, further refining the digital M experience. It features a 24-megapixel CMOS sensor and the Leica Maestro II image processor. Although it is now one generation removed from the latest models, its specifications remain more than sufficient.
The M10-P has also served for many years as our shop’s demonstration camera and has earned the full confidence of our staff.
A highly accomplished camera with excellent looks, it remains an enduringly popular model among our customers.
There are faint tape marks around the Leica engraving on the top plate and around the MADE IN GERMANY engraving beside the rear viewfinder. A small scratch can also be seen on the front of the body, just above the lens mount. Overall, however, the camera has a clean and well-kept appearance.
This camera was in regular use by one of our customers until recently. In November 2025, the rangefinder was adjusted and the sensor cleaned by a specialist repairer. The warranty is limited to initial defects, but we have carried out thorough operational and shooting tests in our shop. All functions operate correctly. Focus accuracy and rangefinder coupling have also been checked with our reference lens. Most importantly, the CMOS sensor is free from scratches and dirt. The viewfinder is also clear and bright, with no haze.
We have used a silver chrome M10-P in our shop since 2021 for lens inspections, shooting tests, and sample images, and added a black chrome example in 2025. Both have proved extremely reliable, trouble-free, and easy to use.
