A film trimming template for the Janua, a Leica-style camera introduced around 1948 by San Giorgio of Italy.
It is the Janua equivalent of the Leica ABLON film trimming template. It would be nice to have both, would it not?
This Janua version, however, is exceptionally rare. Like the Janua camera itself, it is made of brass and beautifully finished in matte bead-blasted chrome, displaying superb craftsmanship.
A highly sought-after rarity.
Previously sold by our shop and carefully used by its owner, this item remains in the same condition as when it was last sold. This is now the third time we have offered it for sale.
Light rubbing from use can be seen in various areas, but there are no noticeable scratches or loss of chrome plating.
A perfect companion for a Janua or a Barnack Leica, and also ideal for a collection.
The price includes consumption tax and domestic shipping within Japan.
