An ACTINA-branded lens hood for the Summicron 50mm f2, produced by Schmidt Shokai, the Japanese distributor for Leitz.

It is compatible with E39 50mm lenses that accept the ITDOO or IROOA hood, including the Summicron and Elmar. Like the ITDOO, it can be reversed over the lens for compact storage.

It is slightly heavier than the genuine Leica hood, but is very solidly made. An excellent choice for those looking for something a little different!

There is some paint loss around the front edge of the hood, but aside from this, it is in quite good cosmetic condition. No distortion, noticeable dents, or scratches are present.

The inner velvet lining remains in good condition. The hook tabs and springs are both firm, providing a secure fit on the lens. Tested on an E39 lens.
