The Leica CL, a compact Leica born from the collaboration between Leitz and Minolta. Serial number in the 1.43 million range, manufactured in 1975/76.

Unlike the M-series cameras, the CL features its own distinctive mechanisms, including a 40mm frame line and a vertically traveling shutter. It also has a built-in exposure meter. The viewfinder includes 50mm and 90mm frame lines as well, providing all the essential functions in a compact body.

A truly excellent camera whose charm becomes more apparent the more you use it. An ideal companion for travel and street photography.

There is only the slightest sign of use, such as a faint sheen in a few areas, and the camera is in very clean overall cosmetic condition. There are none of the dents or dings commonly seen on Leica CL bodies. A very pleasant example that you can enjoy using with confidence.

Overhauled in July 2026. All functions are working smoothly. The viewfinder is also clear. There are a few extremely tiny specks in the rangefinder patch, but they do not affect visibility or practical use.
