Summicron-M 35mm f2 ASPH, silver. Made in Germany. Leica product code 11674.
Released in 2016 and still part of the current lineup. Its distinctive rectangular hood adds a modern Leica design accent.
Equipped with 6-bit coding. The filter size is E39, and the minimum focusing distance is 0.7m.
The optical construction is the same as the previous model, with 7 elements in 5 groups including one aspherical element. However, the aperture blades were changed from 8 to 11, allowing for a more natural and smoother bokeh rendering.
A very clean example with almost no signs of use. There is a tiny mark between the numbers of the product code on the hood, barely noticeable from a distance, but the lens itself is in like-new condition.
The glass is beautifully clear, with no cleaning marks or haze. All functions work properly, and the rangefinder coupling is accurate.
A great-value choice for anyone considering a current Summicron.
When attaching the hood, the decorative ring at the front of the lens must be removed. This part is easy to misplace, so please handle it with care.
Comes with the dedicated hood, hood cap, decorative ring, front and rear caps, inspection certificate, instruction manual, case, original box, and warranty card, although the warranty has expired.
